Fell deeper into love with my cards. It's the little things that keep me so into them. Going through my Mariners binder I observed the Mariners (sometimes called the M's) rotation was dominated by M's in the Mid 80's
Mike Moore
Mike Morgan
Matt Young
Mark Langston
This may be well known to M's fans but I learned it from my cards!

Before being called the Mariners, they were called the Seattle Pilots. The owner picked the name. I think because when he was younger he was a harbour pilot to guide ships in.

The Pilots were the Brewers, Selig bought them in 70 and moved to Milwaukee. 1969 was their only season in Seattle.

Ya, those names that begin with a z can really confuse people.
Vintage Thanks for the info. I learned something today.

I have tickets to the NASCAR race in Martinsville, VA on Sunday. If the weather cooperates, I'll be at the track with my brother, mother and grandfather. Current forecast is for the rain to end around 2pm. The start-time is supposed to be 3pm, but they'll have to get the track dry before they can start the race. At least the track added lights a couple of years ago, so they can race after dark. I sure hope the race happens Sunday and not Monday!
