Here's my haul from the show. Not bad for under $100. You can see all the images without compression here: https://public.fotki.com/CardboardHistory/card-shows/new-windsor-2-22-20/. Sorry for the crappy images. Photographing cards simply doesn't work, but it'll take me months to scan all these.
Got all the above from Dan!
The Vic Hadfield stick is PR20! The three Rangers and the Pittman patch were my last purchase of the day.
More fun from Dan
Both of these were single card purchases. My first Durant in a Nets jersey!
Cherry picking mostly parallels. Nicolas Claxton is the Nets' rookie this year, and is my first card of his.
My first Pinncle Inside hockey cards, and the Kariya is a error (caught in packaging)
Vintage NBA! 1961-62 Fleer is not really all that common. If I had more money, that dealer would have gotten some more of it. Hope I see him again at the next show they do, I'm brining a list for 61-62 Fleer. A career issue of Wayne Embry is a card I've been after for a while.
This one dealer had a box of loose NBA cards, mostly 1990s and 2000s, this whole stack was $5. He had some rarer stuff, like Chrome parallels from 1996-97 Topps Stars, which you don't often see. I don't remember which ones I have already, but at that price, I don't care- I got all three he had!
I know I overpaid for this box, at $20. But the joy of going through it can't be priced. It's a mix of several sports, but is mostly hockey. Interestingly, when I got it home, I found a price tag of a card/comic shop I used to visit in Fishkill, NY, but which closed in 1996...that shop is likely the first one I ever bought basketball cards in, although I can't remember for sure. I know it's where I got my first vintage basketball cards, at least.
Check out those awesome off-centers! Some of them are off center, the wrong card AND the backs are upside down!
I think those two Studio oversized cards are now the largest cards in my collection. I'm not sure they are going to fit on my scanner tray! The Kariya is a regular sized card and is shown for scale.
What a great show. And they expect to hold it quarterly. And while I was there, I found out, from Jerry actually, that there is a show starting up bi-weekly in Fishkill NY...that's even closer to home for me, and getting to this show was only about 35 minutes. I will probably attend most of those Fishkill shows. What a great day for the hobby.
VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.
