Not even Air Cadets for me, thanks all who have served. I don't think I'd ever have the nerve to do it, takes a real good person to do what you all do. Again thanks! =)

I never had an interest until I was too old to think I could make it through boot camp. My cousin was in the Marines for a couple of years before health forced his exit and my sister was in the Navy for 7 years before she left to spend more time with her children. She stayed in the Navy Reserves for a couple of years after that. Both of my grandfathers were in the Army and their stories were why I didn't want to join after high school.

24 years in the Air Force.

35 years in the RCAF, Air Navigator CC130

Seven years US Navy, tin can sailor.

Now my two years in the Navy back in the early 70's seems like a drop in the bucket compared to some of you. However, I had to boost the Navy totals. Electronics Tech on a destroyer!

Army Vet & Army Brat.

The Air Force and Navy have arrived. Now we'll get coffee and donuts....J/k. I always liked to deploy with Air Force and/or Navy personnel because.......seriously......they always seem to be able to get there hands on good coffee and donuts. I was in Haiti after the earthquake in 2010 and we had a couple Navy and Air Force guys join our staff. The Air Force guy had a buddy that was doing daily flights into Haiti from Miami. We were able to order Pizza one night and have it flown in. The Navy guy had donuts flown in from a vessel that was stationed just off the coast a couple times a week. It was nice to get a break from MREs and bottled water. I like the Navy and Air Force.

For all of you that served, I can not thank you all enough! Thank you all for your service and keeping our country safe.
