Not correct, but good guess

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

A man has to have goals — for a day, for a lifetime — and that was mine, to have people say, "There goes Ted Williams, the greatest hitter who ever lived."

In 1962, pitcher Bob Garibaldi almost became the 1st. He pitched in the College World Series with the Santa Clara Broncos. He pitched for the San Francisco Giants in 9 regular season games and did not appear in the playoffs. They lost to the Yankees 4-3 that year. If it's not one of these then who could it be?

It's Finnegan. I was saying No to Clemens. Sorry for the confusion

I didn't see the Finnegan answer, which started a new page. I thought Clemens was the only guess. You're up KCJays.
Now I know how Steve Harvey felt...

I was pretty surprised when I read that Finnegan wasn't correct. Glad to see it was a misunderstanding.
I've always wanted to be at a game and see a triple play. Name the Hall of Famer who holds the career record for hitting into triple plays.
Bonus: How many did he hit into?
Hint: It was 1 more than he participated in as a fielder.

I'll say Pete Rose, just because he played forever

He said Hall of Famer. Rose clearly isn't the answer, even though he should be in the HOF.
