No go for it, I'm sure a trip over the falls in a barrel while wearing the TCDB shirt will win him another creativity award.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Wow Ranfordfan, heading back to my old stomping grounds. spent more than a few Friday/Saturday nights in high school cruising up and down Clifton Hill. If you want campy/tacky with lots of action, Clifton Hill is the place to explore. all kinds of things to do in Niagara Falls. Popular tourist traps around the falls: Maid of the Mist, Skylon Tower, Journey Behind the Falls. Keep in mind, in this severely over taxed country of ours, that HST is 13% and there is a 'tourism improvement fee' (4%) on Clifton Hill and surrounding areas (may be limited to hotels and restaurants). lots to do for all ages, i'm sure you will enjoy.

So wife has here holidays confirmed. June 23 to July 8th. Been doing some logistics today and it looks like we will leave the 23rd or 24th ..... four travel days there .... 8 or 9 days to stay and then either 3 or 4 to travel home. I am pretty sure we are staying right at Marineland, its the cheapest by far and does not upcharge for long weekends. Looks like we will be attending both July 1st AND July 4th festivities. I now need to plan the route a bit better but it looks like abou 3150 kms one way. Need to go over things with the wife and then go from there! Holidays 2018 ..... like a B title version of RVing!! LOL

My wife and I spent Canada Day at Canada's Wonderland in 2004, and stayed until the fireworks. Not a bad time, but for me that one visit was good enough. We live about half an hour from the park and I have no desire to go back. It's basically a teen hangout, since a season pass is pretty cheap. There were line-ups of cars dropping off their hoodlums in the morning and coming back for them at park closing time. (I just realized how much I sound like an old fuddy duddy... stay off my lawn!!).
We'll be driving to Ottawa for Canada Day weekend this year, but otherwise if your plans take you to the Toronto area I love to meet up. Haven't meet any TCDB'ers in person yet.

So its official. Leave good ol Lloydminster at 8 AM June 23rd and landing in our campground just south of Marineland by June 27th. We will be doing Marineland and some touring around with July 1st at Niagra Canada and July 4th Niagra USA, leaving for home July 5th. If all stands correct I do believe there is a meet up planned for C2C and I in Buffalo. Not sure which day yet (if still happening) and possibly with a visit to Dave & Adam's (that would be sweet). Maybe a TCDB event in the making ?!?!?! Of course it will be family first but if there is a possiblle way for more than one to show up that would be great. As always with the wife's and US Customs permission.

I just did the drive from Detroit to Niagara Falls last week. My wife was upset that Marineland didn't open until this weekend. The tourist tax someone else mentioned was 8%, so a complete tax of 21% on a number of things.
while we enjoyed the few things we did do, do not do the upside down house. There just wasn't much to it
