This is not my picture (it was easier to find the pic on ebay and post it here).
If anyone wants this, please send me a private message.
Also, as an actual discussion item - should items like this be listed here? It's 8" x 10" but on card stock. Opinions?

Edit..not me, I already have it.
I've wondered about these as well. Known as Hero Cards, Post Cards or Autograph Cards, there are no fully known checklists. It would have to be a living checklist, updated as found, like the Topps Baseball buybacks. I have over 1000 in my collection dating back to the 1970s. They are available as far back as 1955. I don't count them in my trading card collection, I count them separately.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I think they should be listed. We already have precedence of other 8x10 (or close to it) card sets. 1991 Heroes of Baseball Sheets and 1997 Studio Portraits to name 2.

There is no standard size for these...or even standard shape. I have round, cut to the shape of a car battery, rhombus shaped, die cut to the shape of the car's number, and more. They range in size from so large they don't fit on my scanner tray to smaller than a standard size card. There are also foldouts akin to Collect-A-Books.
There are nothing that could be described as a parallel or an insert but there are variations. And they aren't just NASCAR. They exist for most forms of Motorsports. I have drag, Indy, Sprint, trans-am and more. And I have only scratched the surface of what exists.
The cool thing is that most teams will mail you one for free if you ask.

It does say right on the card "Complimentary - Not for sale. Any attempt to sell ... will result in confiscation and prosecution."
I think my wife and son got it at the local Home Depot when the #20 car was on display there. I guess it'll go into the recycle bin this week.

My 2 cents... I just don't think it classifies as a 'trading card.' Unless it's an uncut sheet of cards, I classify these as 'non-standard' in my own collection. Studio portraits as mentioned above I consider those jumbos, since they were produced by a trading card company.

I have a couple of these but I don't think they should be included. I do think of them as collectable but as Billy stated, there are no known checklists for these. I would much rather see Lobby cards added to the database before these.
Having said that, I'm not totally against it if they are included, I just think there is so much on here that still needs to be added first before we go diving into another outlier of the database.

Don't do that! There is a market and collectors of these...they just aren't here. List it on eBay (that disclaimer is like pillow tags, not relevant 12 years after issue or to the people who get them- that is for the local help watching the car to let them know to give it to people, not charge them). If all else fails, I will take it and find it a home amongst my NASCAR collector contacts. You could possibly get a few bucks out of it at the Dutchess Marketplace, there's a NASCAR guy on the north wall.
I'm also not the only NASCAR collector here, perhaps one of them need it.

My 2.5 cents worth (using current exchange rate), if we can have Beehives listed on here that are 8x10s, I have added Oiler sets that are 8x10s and there are others then why not. My opinion is that 8x10 should be the MAX size allowed (as it can fit in a sheet in a binder), must be of a non-paper stock (like posters say) and if they have a confirmed checklist. To me that constitues it as a collection. There would be exclusions I would asssume on PROMO and SAMPLE senarios.

Have no fear, a home (not the recycle bin) has been found.
And I won't be scanning it to add here as it seems there is no real "trading card" quality to it.
