I need someone to maybe explain this a little differently on the variations in the set..VAR: Factory Set version: Back bottom matches with front left...I just am not understanding. I have looked at the other examples, I am just not getting it. Thanks

Probably the most ridiculous VAR, ever!!. The orientation of the backs in reference to the fronts. The back's bottoms line up with the left side of the fronts.

If I recall from a prior discussion factort sets differed from others as one the tops were the same front & back and on the other the matched up topon front bottom on back? This is only based on how I understood reading the conversation.

Reminds me of the wrong-way buffalo nickel on the Andy Griffith Show.

If you flip the card like a book page, on the vertical axis, wax has the card # at the top, factory has the card # at the bottom.

So basically if you have a player's card from each variation and you look at them from the front like you normally would any card, then flip them the same way the back will have a different orientation. I don't have any that I've found yet, but that's how I understand it.

Funny post, I asked that question a while back and nearly got crucified for being a card idiot. How times change or it must just be me? LOL.
But yes, exactly what Commish said....just keep flipping......I found plenty of both in my @ 8 monsters.

Jason, here's a visual also to help as I found a player whose cards I have.
The cards are positioned as one would normally have them when looking at them.
If I flip both cards horizontally so that they remain upright you get this:
So the card on the left side is from a wax pack because the card number is on the upper right side and is situated behind the card's top left when looking at the front. The card on the left is from a factory set because when it was flipped the card number ends up on the lower left side, or behind the bottom right side when looking at the front of the card.
