1989 SCD Baseball Card Price Guide Monthly Baseball Forum

Between its premiere issue of April 1988 and the September 1989 issue, SCD's monthly price guide magazine issued a gatefold player poster in each issue.  Beginning with the October 1989 issue, panels of five (later six) repli-cards were stapled into the magazine in place of the posters.  The 1989 repli-card series depicts contemporary players in the design of the 1964 Topps.  Backs are in black-and-white with a photo of the player's rookie card and market advice pertaining to the player.
