I will check my local shop tomorrow for the other couple of years. I have a scanner and would love to help. I just don't have the cards.

Lugnut, in conversation with vrooomed, probably the best approach is to use the factory set to compare to the images already loaded in the regular set and identify the cards where the image should be moved to the Factory set. Once that is done, we can fill in the rest of the images. Obviously you could do the factory set and someone else could do the regular set. I will be sorting my 13000 cards once I can identify at least one version definitely belonging to one set.
I see the sequence of events as:
1. Lugnut - identify the cards in the regular set as needing to bemoved with an IR submission for each card.
2. Level 8 approve and complete the IR.
3. Third party scans and loads the images of the regular set.
4. Lugnut (or if he doesn't like scanning) a fourth party scans and loads the missing Factory set image. Preferred is Lugnut as he will most defintiely have the true Factory set card.
I wonder if when this exercise is completed, if Admin could lock the images so that they cannot be replaced.

I wonder if perhaps Admin could lock both sets now as well, and only leave open one option at a time so that no one else can jump in without knowing what’s going on in the process listed above and muddle things up more. For example, if the process Bruno just listed above is used, Admin locks both sets until the images that need removal are removed. Then unlock the next step in the process, and so on and so forth.
Edited for clarification.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I went through my set (made by me from wax packs) and I identified just over 200 back images in the "regular" set that appear to be the factory set versions. I've submitted an inaccuracy report with the full list. I'll check the fronts next...

Sigh....
This is what I was afraid of.
Folks, if you cannot follow the directions given, please just don't bother.
Same with those submitting images. Don't submit anything else until the FS cards are moved out of the base set.
Maybe I should just drop everything else and do this myself....

Maybe we can use Seaver’s IR’s as kind of a verification and see if they match what I find. I pick the set up tomorrow morning. This will become my number 1 priority going forward.

Mike,
Sure that will help as a verification but once they are confirmed, as has often been said here in the Forums, each card needs a separate IR to move the image(s). I know it may be more work for the one submitting them but it saves a hell of a lot of work for those who are addressing them. Will you be able to do this? Or maybe once you confirm it all, I or someone else can do that end of it while you work on the rest.
We know we have a team that concentrates their time on the IRs; let's help them in their cause.
When you do start, (with the FS in hand you will really have the lead on it), keep me in the loop and I will do what I can to make it happen. I am free tomorrow for most of the day.

I want to do it the easiest way for everyone involved. I can do a separate IR for each one. I’ll put a link to the FS. Do the fronts and backs need separate IR’s or just one per card?

One per card but say whether both images need to be moved or which one needs to be moved.

Locking the sets is a good plan, if it can be done. 1990 Topps football supports my statement. How many times did the same disclaimer backs get removed, only to have somebody else re-scan them? That went on literally for years.
-------------------------------
I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
