Not really a direct question. More a point I wanted to make. If they're both COR they can't be different.

What card are we referring to 655 or 665?
Both checklists?
And the reference is 179?

Those 4 variations are what Baseballcardpedia shows. I see that only 3 are possible with the given information. I still question the Bosio, as best I can see with online images the glossy are misspelled Boslo too. There is also a #81 Boggs card with an errant black speck after "Right" on the back, some claim a corrected one exists while the glossy has the same black speck.

655, the 665 is a typo as best as I know. Card #179 Chris Bosio is misspelled Bos"L"o

OK, so 3 VARs on #655 [at best]. Please list them again as you propose. Which 1 is probably not? And they refer to Bosio being spelled Boslo? Card #179 is OK?
Yes #81 Boggs has that "black speck", I don't think I have one missing the speck.
Pardon, I haven't looked at these in a while. But I do have most of the ERRs & VARs listed. It really helps when searching for ERRs & VARs to have quantity, and 1989 I have @5-6 monsters + 3-4 unopened.

I was not proposing anything. Just trying to understand what Beckett's idiotic desc./image sets were all about. I'm just trying to understand what exists for this card/vars. and am leaning towards just one version but would like to have a glossy 655 in hand to look at the spelling. To make a list of what I think is in existence....
#655 UER: Bosio misspelled boslo
As far as card #179 I do not believe there ever was an issue with it, just checklist spelling error.

I just made yet another attempt to acquire this card #655B (Correctly spelled Bosio) only to come to the same end result as every other time. "I don't have the exact one I told you I did". This last person said they pulled this card from a factory set and it is the ERROR variation (655A). Even though there are 341 members on TCDB who show as owning this card in their collections, plus another 14 listed as FS/FT, I do NOT BELIEVE IT EXISTS.. I don't have to tell you who posted the images to TCDB for this card if you have read any of my other fantasy err/cor card posts you can guess. According to what Beckett shows a version with player positions exists (misspelled Boslo on that one too) but that is Not in question here and if so could be added at a date when it is in fact confirmed.
Does anyone have any concrete evidence that a corrected version exists? I have looked at the Glossy and they also appear to be misspelled.

655 with positions listed does in fact exist and was sold on ebay within the last three years. As were all of the other checklists with positions on front.
