Lee Smith held that record before all saves were one inning. And he played on some baaad teams. (And some good ones. Don't forget St. Louis and Baltimore). He should be in. (Total Cubs bias here, though).
No problem with a DH in the Hall. Gotta put up amazing numbers, though. On numbers alone, I wouldn't put Martinez in. But I give him a vote in a few years because he helped redefine the position (or lack thereof).
I'll add Vlad, too. Just not yet. He's in the Dawson, Rice realm, along with Bagwell, and Kent. Not offended that they're (or would be) in. Would understand if they weren't.
