Hi all,

I ordered a hobby box of these cards, and was pleasantly surprised to get the following SP Derek Jeter card.
Derek Jeter #300b

Since it was the only SP, I checked ebay and was flabbergasted to see that this card was selling for $70 and up! This is much more than many of the SNed cards I checked, so I was wondering how rare is this card, exactly? If it is not rare, why is it so expensive on ebay? Should I expect this price to remain constant roughly?  Im just genuinely curious.

I have no idea, but that's a sharp card. Makes the normal one look ugly. Could be the popularity of Jeter, plus add the fact he was a Yankee.

The odds of the base variations are 1:55 packs.
