There is an insert set called Walmart Exclusives that has no checklist. Isn't this the Jeter cards that do have a checklist? If so Walmart Exclusives set should be removed.

This isn't the only example I've seen of this type of set title. IMO, "Walmart Exclusives" is an inappropriate set title (unless of course "Walmart Exclusives" is actually printed on the card fronts). It'd be no different than naming an insert set "Hobby Exclusive", "Retail Exclusive", "Blaster Box Only", etc. The set title should describe the cards and "Walmart exclusive" should be listed in the Release Notes.

I don't believe they are the Jeter cards. Someone on the forums showed an example of them a while back, leading to the checklist to be made.

According to Beckett the Walmart exclusives are a 5-card pack that is part of select bundles you purchase from their website. The pack is part of a bundle; a Stadium Club or Allen & Ginter blaster box (not Archives), a mix of packs, and the 5-card pack. So, they are not inserted in any product. Much like National Hockey Day, buy some Upper Deck products and get a pack of cards.
IMO, they should probably be listed as a separate set, not an insert.

Definitely shouldn't be a 2017 Archives insert if Archives aren't even part of the bundle. Do the cards themselves resemble Archives cards?

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Forget my question. I just read your Beckett link. Thes have nothing to do with Archives. Might be an instance where Walmart Exclusives is the correct name though, since each card number has a WM- prefix?

Suggestion: list under Oddball or Promo as "2017 Topps Walmart.com Exclusives"

I agree with C2C's suggestion here. I assume ADMIN would have to delete the insert set in Archives, and anywhere else it might have been created?

Correct. Only Admin can delete cards and sets on the site.
One exception to the deletion "rule", Level 8 members can delete PIDs when there are no cards associated with that PID.
