A photo variation, I'm all about it. A period or a darker logo after 30 years of it not really being identified in mainstream and old guys not seeing those subtleties... not so much. I take pride in my collections being accurate, but it will be a year or more before I go through all my donruss doubles to correct my collections because it is a very low priority for me in the junk era. My only motivation Is that i might be able to move some via trades, but my wantlist is really whittled down now, so not likely.

You can't see what seperates them from the Collection Summary>Add/Update page, nor does it show up when matching tradelists..or even looking at your own collection or tradelists. Meaning the Note2 is useless on those pages.
The anti-parallel bias in the hobby made Dan do a whole lot of work that doesn't really help unless you go pull up the actual card.
I know of at least four parallels listed as variations here. I suspect there may be more I have not discovered yet, especially as I don't do baseball or football. And that's not even counting vintage Non-sports, where I suspect there may be hundreds.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. This has GOT to be THE COMMENT OF COMMENTS. I don't know how I missed it, Joe. I hope you didn't use a Magic Marker, they may catch that.

I came to this old thread looking for an answer, and I didn't find it.
So here's my question: I know that some cards in the factory set DO NOT differ from the retail packs. Am I to assume that that's the reason some cards don't have a "c" entry in the checklist? Like this:
I just want to know as I'm working on adding my "c" Want List. Thanks to whoever clarifies this for me.

Wow, tiny backside variations. I will warn anyone looking for those in trade from me, as well as the 1991 Topps light/dark logo variants, I have not sorted my cards to that specific yet. Mine are all still grouped as if there was only one type. Getting to sort something to that detail is way down the road for me at this point.

Correct: If there is no c, that means the hobby factory version did not differ from one of the retail versions.

Thanks, Dan. I suspected you'd be The Answer Man on this one.

So, I thought I would add to this. According to Beckett and the card I have, 1991 Donruss Bonus card #14 line 7 says the error committed in this game was by "Chris Hayes" it should have said "Charlie Hayes'. Maybe its a UER maybe not. It also has the period after INC.

Unless there's a version out there somewhere with "Charlie" instead of Chris, and both versions here have "Chris", it's an UER.
