I want edgar all the way, but it would be awesome if Jeff Kent and Bons went in at the same time on the same day and got into a fist fight on the stage.

THAT would be a sight! Dusty's out of work, he can run on stage and break it up like old times.

Are these just the newly eligible?  I noticed not a lot of older names on this list.

The original post contained a list of all recent players who are eligible for a vote under the normal process -- leftovers from previous ballots and new people alike.

Others have included their thoughts on the Modern Baseball Committee (1970-1987) that meets this year to consider older players. I almost don't care who that committee puts in, as long as it's someone. There's just very little likelihood that every player who played in that era who belongs in the HOF is already in.

I agree with v3 on the modern committee selections, but compared to some of the fodder or fringe players on the original list the older ones seemed better. Else my vote would barely be six players.
