2002 Topps Baseball Forum

While going through my 2002 Topps set, I noticed an errror on the card for Craig Counsell.  This is not Craig Counsell on the front, this is Greg Colbrunn. 

Pretty big oversight by Topps considering Counsell was a huge part of the 2001 Dbacks World Series team and was the NLCS MVP.  Can someone explain to me the guidelines for marking a card as an error?  I have seen ERR and also UER.  I am assuming this one would be an UER?  Also, is there a specific formatting in Note2 for what to type, or just basically describe what the issue is however we see fit?

You pretty much got it. UER and in Note2 just tell it like it is.

It appears to be an uncorrected error but I'm not a baseball expert. If it is it should be listed as "UER" in the Note Field and "UER: Greg Colbrun photo on front" Or something like that in the Note 2 field.

UER for Uncorrected Errors. Note2: "UER: photo is actually Greg Colbrunn" would suffice.  In cases where you know the photo is wrong but can't identify who it actually is, "UER: photo is not Craig Counsell"
