I'm excited to collect these when they release, but I would love a set like this that wasn't strictly Americans. I want cards of Aksel and Gut and these hot women curlers I'm watching on tv right now. I love winter sports, but there's more to it than just Team USA. Also, there's gonna be so many Vonn cards, and she probably won't even medal.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Regardless, I will probably go for a set of these. I haven't tried to build a set since...well, maybe never?

Just looked at the sell sheet...looks like a lot more serially numbered cards in this release than the previous Olympic releases. I think that's a good thing, because I'm sort of obsessed with Serially numbered cards. I usually like to get a box of the Olympic set and open one pack per day during the Olympics. Couldn't afford it for Rio but got the box for Christmas later that year, and completed the set. I've completed every Olympic set Topps has done since 2012.
Lindsey Vonn is the only athlete I know of to share my birthday to the year. Been a while since I looked at the birthday page for my birthday, though. Since C2 created that set and gave me a PID, I'll now show up on it, which is awesome.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. Oh I'll take all the Vonn cards I can get. She's the best ever. But Shiffrin may be the star of these games. So I hope she's in the set.

You'd think with the number of sets they produce in other sports they'd include other nations.
I'm an all-American boy, so I'll stick with Nina Roth. Did you catch Becca & Matt Hamilton? They look unstoppable.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I didn't create the PIDs. I didn't look at the Change Log to see who did. It just feels weird to have a PID. Would be cool to show up on the Birthday Gallery.
Yeah, sure. They don't mind paying millionaire athletes but don't want to pay poor amateur Olympians.
