WOW! images for 52 cards. How long did that take? That would take me a few days to do that many. What's the secret in doing so many?

No I'm 99.99% certain they're "90" and not "91" in the hologram... I'll try to ge a scan but you know that may not be exactly easy to show ...

PapaG's card probably has a "Comic Ball" hologram. Those had "UPPER DECK" with a line of big carrots in the background & lots of rows of "90"s in the tilted, second image.
I only have 90-91 UD Hockey cards with this, but that was likely the foil used on his card.

Carrots....!! Then that would explain the orange tint in those 4 holograms...!! Thanks for clarifying And maybe I ought to be eating more carrots too. I just checked a few of my UD 90-91 hockey cards and even found one with the "Baseballs" hologram too.

I'm not sure since that was 8 months ago. But I can individually scan, crop and save the front and back of 3-5 cards per minute. When I upload them here, I do 3 cards at a time front and back in separate tabs. Since I know I had a stack of those cards and knew that they all needed scans, I probably did the scans for half and then uploaded them. Then I deleted them from my scan program (but not PC) to clear the page. Then I scanned the rest and uploaded them 3 at a time.
When you scan and upload as many cards as I have over the years (and not just on here), you figure out the fastest ways that work for you and the scanner and programs that you use. If I spent a day adding scans, I could easily do hundreds of cards, if not a thousand. But I get tired of doing the same thing over and over continuously. I think the most I've ever done in one day was a couple hundred total scans/uploads.

After getting a picture (via email) from PapaG, his card is the 1990 Crossed Sticks hologram. I compared it to a bunch of mine and it matches several of them. Some of them look different just b/c of the way the 90 lines up on the hologram. Some have many of them and some only have a few. So at least that question is answered.
As for the Comic Ball hologram, I'd love to see that one. I only have 1 of those cards and the hologram on them is so small that I can only make out rows of "UPPER DECK".

Here's images of my Jaromir Jagr "Comic Ball" RC. First shows the row of carrots (alternating up & down), second shows the rows of "90"s (one row upside-up, next row upside-down). The "UPPER DECK" lines are u-u & u-d too - and are fixed on the upper layer to show all the time, with an empty row between pairs to view the carrots & 90s switching places in the background.

A little trick with the hologram So you can see them easier. You need a deck lamp no other light should be on. Make sure the light is not hitting your face. You only want to see the light bouncing off the cards. Hold the card at the light and your eyes need to be around 30 to 50% of an angle from the cards face. So your kind of looking at the card on an angle but the light is hitting it flush. Move your hand around a little bit to get the hologram to pop. Once you find that sweet spot you can thumb through a stack fairly quickly. The angle works both ways so if you have the light at around 30 to 50% and hold the cards facing your eyes it will pop for you. Once I look up how they work and the math of them. I found this to be an easy way to see them. I thought the ones with the baseball on them are the best looking they stood out the best.
