2005 Topps Baseball Forum

 I recently purchased a factory sealed "brown box" set, and while putting the cards in numerical order, I discovered that 6 extra cards were included in the set.

They were doubles of :

#75 Frank Thomas

#126 Jason Isringhausen

#146 Coco Crisp

#307 Matt DeSalvo

#311 Brett Harper

#330 David Wright /  Craig Brazell

I've got every factory set from 1987-2012 and this is the only one I've ever seen it happen with, 

so is this normal for the '05 set or just a fluke instance?

I can't speak on the base sets, but all of the Topps Micro sets from 1991-1993 had lots of doubles included.

 I had an extra Carlos Guillen in the 2010 factory set, not bad for a Tigers fan,
