On the sell sheet for this set, the dual stick name cards are called the greatest hockey MEM cards ever. My knowledge of the subject is limited, but I wonder if the hardcore hockey guys have an opinion on this??

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Hype. I for one don't believe in chopping up equipment/uniforms. To me, every used Gretzky stick is a piece of history. Chopped-up it's a worthless piece of kindling.

But they're comparing them to other cards with chopped up stuff. I just wondered if 2 sticks on one card was all that unique. I read all the sell sheets and don't remember seeing any like that before.
And I don't mind chopped up Memorabilia. More people can have a piece of it. I have a piece of Abe Lincoln's house in my garage. (Not to worry...they re-did the foundation years ago and sold pieces of the old one).

Have not heard of this yet, regardless it will be overpriced but if there were my boy in the set I'd be wanting me one!! =)

I don't mind the newer stuffed getting chopped up. In the Game used to put out products with chopped up stuff from players who played a very long time ago, I did not care for that. Anyways, no doubt this product will be over priced I prolly will not buy any of it.

Probably in the Cup price point. Greatest ever? That is subjective. I do not mind GU cards.
Wouldn't mind the Bourque/Sakic card but never going to happen.
Saw they are going to have a carved wood card?
