I've had this card forever- literally, my entire life. My brother got it new, and I remember seeing it in his collection. He eventually gave it to me. He can't remember where it came from though. He was under 10 years old when he got it. He thinks probably a food promo. It's slightly thinner and taller than a standard card, but not by very much. I can't find any reference to any cards issued for the Muppet Movie, anywhere.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I have the full set of those plus I think I had cut some of the promo images from at least one of the Cheerios boxes I had gotten them from. If I recall each specially marked box of General Mills cereals (Maybe just Cheerios) had 3 of the cards on the back of the box with the front of the box having some promo image of Kermit and Piggy I think there might have been a box top or side that had some promo imaging as well. The backs are blank of course since they were on the box itself.
This makes me think when was the last time a cerial box had a trading card on the box? (as a part of the box not inside the box) I think that tradition died in the 1970s.

Cool Muppets card. I can never find any info on Muppets cards. I have some that I still haven't been able locate a CL for but haven't looked in a while. They are 1994 Cardz "Muppets Take the Ice" NHL cards.
The last food issue cards that I remember being part of the packaging are the early-2000's Kraft Mac 'n' Cheese and Velveeta cheese boxes. They were NASCAR cards of drivers they sponsored. I also have a couple of mini-bobbleheads from around the same time and the same products.

Thanks for the link Billy! And thanks to reakins for adding the set 3 years ago. I never searched for them again after the first attempt in 2015. I would have gotten back to them eventually, but with the link I'll add them now.
