So I bought a couple 2-card packs last week.

Sam Darnold base

Dan Marino base

Dwayne Haskins insert (though it's kind of boring for an insert)

Kyler Murray parrallel insert with SN 50  

The Good: 4 QBs. The Murray card. I'm a Heisman collector, so even if he never makes it at the NFL level it's a sweet card to have. 

The Bad:  3 of the 4 are still unproven. The one proven guy is retired.  Only 2 cards per pack. 

Anyway, I'm not thrilled about it but at least there's some potential. I'll probably buy 2 more packs this week and then report back here.

John Riggins base (as a Jet)

Jaylon Smith insert

Jarrett Stidham insert

JuJu Smith- Schuster Holo parallel with SN 199

So after 4 QBs in my last buy, I get 4 'J' names in this one. Weird.  

The Good: The JuJu card is the star here. Boith the aesthetics and the SN element. I also like getting Riggins as a Jet, which isn't as common as his Redskins cards. 

The Bad:  Stidham is stuck behind Brady.  Jaylon Smith doesn't float my boat. The only star player is retired. 

Verdict:  A step back from last week. 

Kurt Warner base (as a Ram)

A.J. Brown - Rookies set

D.K. Metcalf - Rookies set

Dak Prescott parallel with SN 99

So 2 QBs and 2 WRs, breaking the mini streak of a 4-card theme. 

The Good:  The Dak card is the highlight here.  Both WRs are already producing, so there's some potential there. 

The Bad:  The best card is a Cowboy.   

Verdict:  Definitely better than last week.  Currently behind Week 1, but that can easily change.

The Good:  The Murray card.

Verdict:  Not the worst or the best batch. Enough to keep going.
