1985 Topps Stickers Football Forum

There are several numbering omissions in this set, but I wasn't sure how to fix it. For example, Card #35 shown is actually Card #s 35-185 since both players are shown. There are other numbers that are incomplete that I'd fix if I knew (or had permissions to do so).

The stickers are separately numbered and are separate entities.  See sticker #109 and #259

I understand the stickers are separate, but why are some listed together such as 34-184, while others are not?

I still don't quite get why they are separate entries.  To separate the stickers you either need to peel them off or cut them in half.  They are almost always found intact.

This is covered in the Rules & Guidelines for Note Entries at Guideline 10E-

Guideline 10E—Some cards, or more commonly stickers, are issued as multiples on standard sized stock. When the separate images on these cards have individual but non-sequential numbers (e.g., 144 & 162), the number should be listed as "144 / 162", with no additional info in the Note field. If the images are sequentially numbered (e.g., 7, 8, 9), a dash is used and the number is listed as "7-9".

so the stickers with more than 1 sticker should be 1 entry?

Correct - with the lower of the 2 numbers listed first, a slash, then the second number.

So even if the sticker is laid out like:

144 | 34

The listing should be "34 / 144".
