Cards I remember hunting down

by bkim - 8 cards (Last updated on Jan 27, 2018)

1. 1962 Topps #533 Charley Lau

This was a single print card from the 7th series. Only thing he had going for him in the 80's was he was a hitting couch for George Brett

2. 1967 Topps #587 N. League Rookie Stars (Don Shaw / Gary Sutherland)

When I was making a Team set in the 1980's I had a hard time finding this card. Bill Hendeson finally had it for me. He remembered always seeing it on my want list I would send to him. He got one and put it aside for me. Bill is/ was one of the greatest sellers of commons in the Hobby.

4. 1967 Topps #461 Bob Miller

I needed to replace this card in my 1967 set. What I had must as been used as a motor sound on a bike. I tried Tony Carrafiel, Bill Henderson, and a couple larger shows near Philly. Took almost a year and some.

6. 1987 Topps #92 Urbano Lugo

This is the one without the trademark.

7. 2016 Topps #574 Ryan Dull

Every time a TCDM had it on their to trade list, by time I got to them they traded it away, or could not find it.

8. 2011 Topps Heritage #437 Adrian Gonzalez

Took me a year and half to find one that was available and at a price I was willing to pay.

If you selling a card and want $10 for it and you have it 6 months later still, how can it be worth the $10 you are asking for it?
If that the case I got Some GE stock I will sell for only $60 a share instead of $ 16.13 as of 01/26/2018
