Colored parallels have become the norm in just about every modern baseball product. And because they are parallels, with the same card number on the back, there's really not much to get confused by. There is at least one product, however, that could cause a collector some confusion.
2012 Heritage featured a number of 'Rookie Stars' who appeared on multiple cards. I'm not going to do a comprehensive list here, but will feature three cards of former Mariner Alex Liddi, who just happened to be the first MLB player to be born and raised in Italy.
As you can see, each card features a different background color, as well as three different prospects per card (in addition to Liddi). At the very least, Topps should have used blue towards the top of card #191.
