Cards within budget that I would like to ownby vrooomed - 4 cards (Last updated on Apr 7, 2023) |
1. 1957 Topps #165 Ted Kluszewski
Other than the T-206 Wagner and the 1952 Mantle (which are obviously both way out of my price range), this may be the most recognizable baseball card in the history of cards. |
2. 1955 Bowman #197 Ralph Kiner
Although it depicts him with the Indians, the last stop in his playing career, it's the only one of his cards from his playing days that falls within the criteria price range on a consistent basis for a decent condition specimen. |
3. 1958 Topps #375 Pee Wee Reese
Last Topps card during his career, this would be a great addition to my HOF collection. Typically sells for less than the 1957 (which might be a nicer card, but falls outside the "budget" line), and is still a solid looking card. |
4. 1978 Topps Burger King Detroit Tigers #8 Jack Morris
I collected Morris throughout the 1980s, and even after he dropped off the HOF ballot, I continued collecting him. This card (and/or set) has just not been a top priority (even though I have the Yankees and Phillies BK sets). Since the 1978 Topps regular card shows him with 3 others, this is a nice 1978 alternative card. |
