Vrooomed’s 40th Anniversary Giveaway - Pick 38

by ClevelandRocks006 - 39 cards (Last updated on Jan 29, 2019)

1. 1989 Star Albany-Colonie Yankees #23 Deion Sanders

The 38th selection of the giveaway “draft”.

2. 1989 Topps #80 Cory Snyder

Cory Snyder is my all-time favorite baseball player. I’ll never forget going to my first game and seeing him warming up in right field. I thought it was so cool to see my favorite player in person. I met him a few years ago, which was possibly the highlight of my sports fandom.

8. 1992 Topps - Gold Winners #606 Brook Jacoby

If Cory Snyder is my all-time favorite baseball player, Brook is probably 1b on the list. I didn’t know these Gold Winner cards existed. Very cool!

9. 1987 Donruss Opening Day #109 Joe Carter

My father introduced me to baseball when I was around 5 of 6. Joe was his favorite when I was young, so he quickly became a favorite of mine too. We were both heartbroken when he was traded to San Diego.

So cool that you turned this into a list. It's great to see what I sent (because I sent so many, I couldn't remember everything I put in everyone's package). I was always a fan of Cory Snyder too. I am happy to spread the extras I had to you. Also, the reason there's no card #40 on this list is because there was actually 2 of the "draft pick" card - you got a regular and you got an unreleased glossy version. Other than any others I have here, I don't know if any others made it into the hobby! Thanks again for participating in my first event of the year. And thanks for making it into a list. Very cool!
