Nashville Predators Goalies

1. 2002-03 O-Pee-Chee #195 Mike Dunham


The first goalie in Predators history was Mike Dunham. Dunham spent 1998-02 with the Predators, appearing in 217 games, going 81-104-24 with a .910 % and a 2.74 GAA.

2. 1998-99 Be a Player #227 Eric Fichaud


Fichaud had a 9-game stint with the Predators in their inaugural season, going 0-6-0 with a .895 % and a 3.22 GAA.

3. 2006-07 Upper Deck Victory #110 Tomas Vokoun


The second longest tenured goalie in Predators history, Vokoun's career took off in Nashville. From 1998-07, Vokoun appeared in 394 (11 playoff) games for the team, going 161-159-46 with a .913 % and a 2.55 GAA. He was an All-Star in 2004, and led the franchise to its first playoff appearance.

4. 2013-14 Score #284 Chris Mason


Mason actually debuted for the Predators in their inaugural season, however, he didn't find his niche on the roster until 2003, after spending time in the Panthers organization. In two separate stints with the Preds, Mason appeared in 151 (5 playoff) games, going 59-50-13 with a .910 % and a 2.68 GAA. Also, on 4/15/06, Mason was credited with a goal when Coyote Geoff Sanderson shot the puck into his own net.

5. 2002-03 Pacific Calder #77 Jan Lasak


Lasak appeared in 6 games over two seasons for Nashville, going 0-4-0 with a .874 % and a 4.01 GAA.

6. 2002-03 Be a Player Between the Pipes #53 Wade Flaherty


Flaherty's lone Nashville appearance was on 3/20/03 in relief of Vokoun at Vancouver. After Vokoun allowed 3 goals on 5 shots in the opening 8:53 of the game, Flaherty played the rest of the game, stopping 23 of 27 during the 7-3 loss.

7. 2003-04 In The Game Action #314 Brian Finley


Finley's career never panned out after being drafted sixth overall by the Predators in 1999. He only played 2 games over 2 years for the Predators (1 in 2003 and 1 in 2005), stopping 44 of 54 in 107 minutes of work.

8. 2018-19 Parkhurst #210 Pekka Rinne


After making his debut in 2005, Rinne has become one of the best goalies in the league and is still in Nashville. He has been in 3 All-Star Games and won the Vezina last season. Rinne continues to be the best goalie in Predators history.

9. 2007-08 Choice AHL All-Stars #17 Michael Leighton


Leighton's only Predators game was on 12/21/06 against Buffalo in relief of Chris Mason, allowing two goals on 10 shots in 20 minutes during the 7-2 loss.

10. 2009-10 O-Pee-Chee #344 Dan Ellis


Ellis spent 2007-10 with Nashville, appearing in 115 (5 playoff) games, going 49-42-8 with a .912 % and a 2.64 GAA, leading the league in save percentage in 2007-08.

I did not know Dubnyk played for the Preds. There's a shot of him in the Nashville yellow in Select update in 13-14 Rookie Anthology.

I found it in his gallery. After reading your list I looked through what was scanned for him because I only know him as a Wild and Coyote. It is tagged to the Canadiens even though it doesn't appear he played for them. I still have so much to learn!

I'm in the same boat-- I looked it up and found out he was traded twice (EDM-->NSH, NSH-->MTL) and was sent down by MTL without making an appearance, then signing with Arizona. The more you know!

Somebody should make a "Never played for" list for hockey like Dan has for baseball. I will work on the NBA version.
