My Dream Team: Football Editionby mtc32226 - 25 cards (Last updated on Sep 9, 2019) |
Now I'm a 80's-90's Kid so my teams will favor era. I'm doing this on the fly so I don't know who is going to be every position. Make your own team!! Let me know.
1. 1986 Topps #161 Jerry Rice
The GOAT. Everyone that has worked with me on here knows I'm a big fan. I watched him put on the Jacket at Canton, one of the greatest trips of my life. |
2. 1987 Topps #362 Jim Kelly
I grew up watching Kelly, Lots of ups and Downs. But if I could watch Kelly throw the ball to Rice and Johnson, it would just be so fun |
3. 1989 Pro Set #494 Barry Sanders
Career to short, I still watch highlight videos of him playing. Not a power guy but man had some moves. Top 3 All Time? |
4. 1996 Donruss #208 Mike Alstott
Very few FB ever leave a mark on people. but Mike was a beast. I don't know if it was the shoulder pads or what. Now there is a Thunder and Lighting team to watch out for. |
5. 2007 Playoff NFL Playoffs - Silver Proof #107 Calvin Johnson
Another Lion player with a Career cut short. To be honest I thought he could have been the GOAT at WR (YES OVER RICE). Bigger, Stronger, Faster guy had it all but a team. I wished he would had played for someone else |
6. 2002 Donruss #265 Jeremy Shockey
I just loved how it played. Risky and Bada$$. You either loved him or hate him but he was fun to watch |
7. 2007 Topps #410 Jeff Saturday
Great guy on and off the field. Really made a name for himself in front of Manning. |
8. 2007 Bowman #217 Joe Thomas
I wish Joe could be on a winning Browns team. Guy played so hard and was just one of the greatest. Another great player on a bad team. |
10. 1989 Panini Stickers #284 Bruce Matthews
Just another player I had a lot of respect for. Just a staple for the Oilers in his time and so consistent. |
Comments
Don't know a great deal about some of them players but nice list. If you go into your lists manager first close the list. Then click on the little word bubble icon and that should allow you to then enter comments in the text field next to each card. | ||
Thanks Gunny. It wasn't working until after I posted it the first time. |
