I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

Easy traps that everyone falls into are 1990s ProCards/CMC cardbacks and football hobby base versus retail base.

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

I like to trade!!  I mainly prefer PWE trades but am set up for larger trades too.  I have a scale at home and the wife works at the post office, so I rarely need to go there.  I like to get my trade list into the hands of members that could use them.  If this means that I give a lot more than I receive, this is fine with me.  You get the cards you need; I get the space back in my area.  I am open to buying and selling, but mainly, I am a trader.  I have mostly gone through and updated for the correct variations in my trade listing.  I also have a spreadsheet that I have documented my Glow vs Non-Glow backed '91 Topps.  Let me help you fill your collecting needs.

My primary collection is something regional, I really want to collect the old Brewer Police cards, they were issued for each community throughout Wisconsin.  But I have been especially looking for the Robin Yount cards.  I think there are over 785 different police sets issued between 1982 and 1993, with over 865 different cards that I am very interested in (He has two cards in the 1993 sets).  Currently, I have 311 different Yount cards.  It's actually been fun, but I have a long way to go.  Any of the other Brewers cards that I have would be available if you are interested but let me check on the condition.  Since I am getting a lot of them through thrift stores, eBay and rummage sales, some are pretty ragged.  I also have Packers Police cards that would potentially be available too.

A fun project that I have started is gathering information on Robin's 3,142 hits.  I have been putting a collection together of him and the pitchers that he hit off of.  This means that I am on the hunt for many, many copies of Robin's Topps cards, one copy for every hit within that year.  But also, many AL pitchers.  I plan to match up the pitcher's card with Robin's card and add a little write up of the at bat and the game.  I'm such a nerd.  UPDATE - Still need over half of Robin's Topps cards.  But I have done very well in regard to his pitchers.  I only need 3 and 2 others to have upgraded!!  Big thanks to everyone that has helped!!

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.  

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. Trading Guidelines:  1)  Looking for EX or better in 1966 and earlier, need NRMT or better in anything newer as these are likely upgrades.  2)  I'm open to trades of all size, from 1 card to 1,000+.  3)  The number of HOF/Superstars and key rookies should be fair, not looking to trade my HOFs for commons.  4)  I try to accurately identify variations but check with me if you seek a specific version of a card.  5)  Condition of cards:  1979 & newer are mostly NRMT, 1978 and earlier include childhood cards and vary in condition.  I am in the process of entering grades for all cards in these years.  Feel free to ask about specific cards.  I always pull cards before accepting a trade and will inform you of any condition exceptions.

I collect all types of hockey cards, but am really into cards from food or drink, cards only released in certain areas, promos, and SGAs.

The Pittsburgh Penguins are my favorite team.

I prefer cards with no writing, stains, trimmed, rips, tears, tape or multiple heavy creasing. VG or better, but I'd consider lesser grades on vintage to fill a collection hole for reasonable offers. A card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks. At best, I would consider them placeholders in a collection (I've listed them because some people want placeholders). A VG card will usually be clean with some corner wear or a centering issue. For me, VG (1950-79) would be the bare minimum for my collection projects. For Pre-War, GD and cards with ink/stamps on the back but with good eye appeal are acceptable. EX will be a nice sharp card, and VgEx will be just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a minor issue preventing it from being EX.

I love vintage.  Making sets from 1955-1992 and then again on some modern stuff for my kids as their interest come and go.  Post war baseball is my main thing, but I do occasionally dabble in other sports.

I would prefer to make trades where the cost/value of the cards is greater than the cost for postage.

And for all potential traders.....there is so much junk wax in the world, unless your cards from 1987-93 are MINT, we're not interested. 

Please know that we have many (100,000?) cards for trade that are not listed in the system and probably won't be for a while, so messaging me is the best way to get things going if you want to trade.  Also, we're happy to sell anything on our trade list. 

All of our Topps football from 82-84 shoudl be in NM (+/- 1 grade).  We're looking for similar quality in return. 

Finally, having been burned too many times, we will not trade without photos of the cards being traded.
