Dec. 15, 2023 - This past year was an extremely difficult one for me. I logged in just a couple of weeks ago, after a 5 month haitus from life. I'm more or less just trying to catch up on my wantlists and figuring out where I last left off. I think it will be quite a while until I'm back to my old self. If you're interested in a bubble envelope sized trade, please send me a PM. - Happy holidays, Eric ---------------- 2024 Goals / Milestones - 650 transactions - 600 Ichiro Suzuki cards 537/600 - Complete 1977 Topps Star Wars Stickers - @ 25/55 (45.5%) - Complete 1980 Topps Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back set @ 301 / 352 (85.5%) - 300 Albert Pujols cards - I've got a long way to go on this. 196/300 - 300 David Ortiz cards 277/300 - 200 Ken Griffey Jr. 142/200 2023 Goals / Milestones ✓ - 600 transactions ✓ - 400 Ichiro Suzuki cards - A big thank you to BobbyL and OraInPA for their generous gifts! Thank you, guys! ✓ - Complete 1977 Topps Star Wars - @ 330/330 (100%) - 200 Ken Griffey Jr. - A little tricky, considering my wantlist isn't all that big. 142/200. I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History) I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays. Trading: I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already. If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them. I prefer larger trades but will do any size at all. I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade. If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade. Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order) - 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
- 1994 NASCAR Cards
- Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
- Automotive Non-Sport cards
- New York Rangers
- New York Knicks
- New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
- Elton Brand
- Dale Earnhardt Jr.
- Henrik Lundqvist
- History related Non-Sports cards
- Attractive women (with or without clothes)
- Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
- Team logo cards for NBA and NHL
- Non-sports subjects in Allen & Ginter
- People with last names starting with Q, U, Z and especially X.
- With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.
There are also a couple of specific sets I'm really hoping to complete some day: - 1996-97 Ultra (NBA), my favorite set ever
- 1988 Leesley Bigfoot (the set that got me started collecting)
- 2002-03 Topps Chrome Refractors (NBA) Refractors are my favorite parallel and this is the closest one to completion
- 1994 Action Packed (NASCAR) tied for my favorite NASCAR set
- 1989-90 Marine Midland New York Rangers (just need the cover card!)
- 1993 & 1994 Skybox The Simpsons (One base card away from completion, also chasing inserts)
- 1954 Topps Scoop (my favorite Non-Sport set ever)
- 1953-54 Topps World on Wheels (my favorite automotive set ever)

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron). I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing. Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards...... I have been trying to do the impossible and collect the entire 2016 Topps and Update Sets. Any help would be appreciated! 2016 Topps - (Last Updated 4/12/24) Base Set - Complete! Hi all, Super happy to have found this site! I'm looking to clear up some space and get some value out of my collection. Preference is for sale (not trade, unless you have some matches to my wantlist specifically). I am based in a suburb of Vancouver, BC (home of the 2010 Winter Olympics) and happily ship pretty much wherever. I have shipped to Canada, US, UK, Australia, Norway, Germany and an FPO in Italy so far. Thanks! Darren |

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon. As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade. Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands! Love everything about this site. I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact). Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List. So keep the proposals comin'! (I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade) My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 2/9/2024): NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (2). NFL: Sterling Sharpe (3), and Don Majkowski (2) MLB: Robin Yount (7), Tony Gwynn (6), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Pat Listach (1) and Mark Langston (1) Golf: Rickie Fowler (2) & Joel Dahmen (2) WWE: Lita (3) UFC: Conor McGregor (4) Non-Sport: Eddie Vedder, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, The Brothers Osborne (TJ & John), Rob Riggle, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Charlie Berens, Post Malone and Brody Stevens Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams. Ha. Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done! (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair. I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal) |

I love this Database and its Community! I build Baseball sets and collect ALL Colorado Rockies (especially Helton, Blackmon, and Freeland). I also collect Dizzy Dean, Ted Williams, Bo Jackson, and Scott Elarton (who I grew up playing ball with). I also collect Garbage Pail Kids of all years and series, car cards, Desert Shield/Storm and other Military/War cards. I really enjoy helping out fellow set builders and I’m willing to trade commons at two/three for one to help build and/or complete sets. Growing up and collecting in the "garbage era" (80s and 90s), I have plenty from that era to trade and still need some to finish my sets. From there, I'm moving in both directions (back to vintage while trying to keep up with modern) to build and complete sets. I had a 20-year period (1995-2015) where I didn't collect as I was in the Marine Corps and didn't have the time or focus for the hobby. Now that I'm retired, I'm trying to play catch up. When it comes to my vintage collection (vintage to me is older than me, i.e. 1976 and older), I’m not looking for pristine or gradable cards. My goal is to have an “acceptable” looking card from each set (mostly centered, non-rounded or soft corners, no writing, no creases, no stains). If it is acceptable for your collection, it’s probably acceptable for my collection. If you have questions or concerns, let me know. I love trying to extend the hobby into the future. I spend time giving cards and supplies to kids as they are the future and it is my hope that they will enjoy the game of baseball and the hobby of collecting as much as I do. I also have a fairly large collection of football, basketball, and hockey cards from the early 80s to today that are not in the data base. I'd love to get these into the hands of a collector who can appreciate them. If that's you, let’s talk! I also love buying/trading in bulk. I have purchased and/or traded for entire collections. If this is you, let’s also talk! |

***TEMPORARILY TURNED OFF TRADING: WILL RETURN SOON.*** ***I Do Not Accept Unsolicited Offers to Buy Cards -- Trades Only***
I am a fan of the Washington Redskins and Atlanta Braves. I collected baseball cards (and some football cards) as a boy into my teens. I sold off my cards as a young adult who was an active alcoholic. [I have been sober since February 17, 1991.] I re-started collecting cards in 2015 during a business trip to Sapporo, Japan. I went to a Nippon Ham Fighters game, and while transversing the gift shop as I was leaving the stadium, I came upon packs of 2015 BBM Nippon Ham Fighters baseball cards. I haven't stopped since... I collect Japanese & US Pro Baseball -- particularly Boston/Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves. Please feel free to send me a friend request here and on Facebook. |

- Any other pre-1970 graded football
- Any condition, preferrably PSA; primarily looking for cheap, low-grade commons
Any cards that I have that do not meet the above criteria will be removed from my collection. As of right now, I only sell on COMC (and I don't see that changing). I just don't have the time with my lifestyle (working 40-50 hours a week, plus coaching three baseball teams) to pull, package, and mail trades, or even mail my own sales. I do enjoy sending PIFs and typically check wantlists here before sending a box to COMC for consignment. If I'm looking for something specific and notice you have it FS/T, I may reach out to try and make an offer. I don't expect to receive any proposals, and would rather send someone a few cards from their wantlist and get nothing in return than try to hash out a deal. I do have cards listed FS/T; they are available via COMC, listed in my "COMC" collection, and can be accessed by following the External Sales Link on those cards. I don't have them in my possession, so I can't do a trade with you. However, I want to see these cards go to people who really want them. If you see something you like, send me a message on here and let me know - the price will come down, and I'll even take a bit of a loss to get you cards for your collection. I keep my prices more in line with what is currently offered on COMC, but I'll certainly be wiling to negotiate, especially with a TCDB member, as these are typically higher than what these cards are truly worth, in my opinion. |

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed. My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months. This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby! I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong! One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up. My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :) |

I have a unique work schedule that keeps me away from the card room at times but I try to communicate regularly in regards to where I stand during transactions. Willing to do any size trade across sports/eras. *Of note, some of the 70s & 80s baseball and football cards on my tradelist have conditions indicated and some do not. It's a work in progress for me to have all of these updated. If you have any questions about any, I'd be happy to answer them. Most of my vintage traders have condition issues to some degree (some are fillers only!). If you're looking for nm or ex-mt, I'm probably not your guy. If you need/want fillers or lower grade, they can be had for minimal/no trade depending on the situation. Thanks! |

***If you are offering a trade and you see I need a '53 Topps card that you have, I am most likely not interested in trading for it, as I am collecting a graded set and just use the wantlist to keep track of what I still need.*** Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Vlad Guerror (Sr.), Don Mattingly. Players from Delaware including Mason Fluharty (my cousin), Zack Gelof, Jake Gelof, Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others. University of Delaware athletes in UD uniform. Tennessee Volunteer football players in UT uniform. Duke basketball players in Duke uniform. Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition): 2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt 2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border) 1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them. 1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack. I will let you know if there are any serious issues. 1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask. I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff). I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up. I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value. |

*** 11/1/23*** Alright, I'm back in business. Will take a few trades while I have free times. If you reached out to me and I haven't responded, shoot me another message and I'll respond. Happy trading, y'all! If you see an insert you like in my collection that's not on my trade list, make me an offer. Tampa Bay Lightning, Vincent Lecavalier, Baltimore Orioles, Eddie Murray For all of you chasing the early 1990s variations, I am slowly going through my collection to make sure everything is updated. Curating a collection of basketball cards with referees in the background. Attempting to 1) acquire two copies (one base and one parallel if available) of every basketball card with a referee's face visible and 2) identify each referee. Love P.W.E. trades. ***Warning*** am a ssslllooowww processor and transactions may take a long time because most card work happens over the weekend. Happy collecting :)

#COMMONCARDSMATTER I have turned trades off again for the time being. I got way more trade requests than I was expecting (thank you all for them!), and cannot keep up along with my work. DM me if there is something you really want. I'm happy to work out a few trades here and there. Collecting Interests: Baseball -- Typically Topps flagship, Update, and Chrome annually, plus any other sets I feel like collecting. I'm trying to put a 1953 Topps set together. I also collect rookie cards of any and all star/superstar players. I have also recently started focusing on Japanese-born MLB players' rookie cards (both Japanese sets like BBM and American sets) I also have PCs of Aaron Nola and Andre Lipcius. I'm always looking to add my my Nola collection! As for Lipcius, I am seeking to collect every card of his that has more than 5 copies in existence. See my wantlist for which ones I am missing. (It's not many!) Beyond that, I know my wantlist is a bit narrow, but if you have some cool Phillies cards that I dont have, I might be willing to trade for those even if they aren't on my official wantlist. Message me and we can try to work something out. I'm always open to sending or receiving cash in trades if necessary. My Non-Set Collecting Goals -- last updated in May, 2023 *Note: My goals are in no particular order, are very general, and have no real time frame for when I want them to be completed. Use these just as a general guide for what I collect. Trading Rules: Rule 1: Like for Like Don't offer me 200 commons from 1988 Topps for a GU auto or something like that. It's not going to happen. If there is a card you really want and you don't have much off my wantlist, message me, and we can work something out. Rule 2: Relatively Fair Deals PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep trades reasonably balanced. It is not that hard to do some research to determine the price of cards, please do it. I understand that you might just not have very much in your trade list that matches with my wantlist, but that is no excuse to offer 10 late '80s commons to me for a Fernando Tatis Jr. Topps rookie card (Yes, this happened). If you do not have enough cards to offer for what you want in return, contact me! I am happy to try and work something out with you. If worse comes to worse, I am always open to selling cards, or doing a partial trade with half cards and half cash. However, if you make a horrible offer with no explanation, that leaves me with a first impression of you that you either (a) are trying to swindle me or (b) did not bother to research the value of the involved cards and are clueless about their value. Neither of those are a good look on you, so don't do it. I'm not saying trades offers have to be like within a dollar of each other or I'll be instantly offended -- just keep it reasonable. Depending on context, I don't necessarily mind trading $20 worth of cards for $10 in return if it's something I really want, just don't be ridiculous. Rule 3: Overproduction era commons for current era commons This is an extension of rule 1. Overproduction era cards can generally be had dirt cheap. That's not to say I won't trade for them if they are on my wantlist; however, I've found that most people are not looking for overproduction era cards in return (for obvious reasons). That is completely fine; however, supply and demand must take effect. I will have a much easier time trying to trade away 2023 Topps commons than 1989 Topps commons, right? Thus, it seems pretty logical that the '23 cards are worth more than the '89 cards. Therefore, I have a general rule of thumb in which I will trade 2 for 1 in favor of whoever is receiving the overproduction era commons. Again, this is a very general rule of thumb, and there are exceptions, as always. Common sense rules the day. Rule 4: Make trade worth price of postage Another common sense rule. In general, why would I do a 1 for 1 commons trade for a 5 cent card when postage is 60-70 cents (PWE)? It makes no sense, right? I would recommend either increasing the value on both sides, or buying the card you want for 1/4-1/3 of the price of postage as part of a larger order on sportlots or COMC. Saves everyone money, time, and effort. Rule 5: Condition I'm not too big of a stickler for condition -- especially of older cards. The term I often use is "presentable." If these cards are going towards a set, especially an older set, I want the cards to be presentable. If I had to put a grade on the cards by era that I am willing to trade for, I'd go with this: (Pre-1970): ALWAYS communicate condition. Condition matters so much for vintage cards that, even for commons, the condition must be communicated before accepting a trade. 1970-1985: VG or better 1986-1993: EX or better 1994-2005: EX-NM or better 2006-present: NM or better Again, I am not a huge stickler though. If your cards don't fall within these approximate grades, let me know and we can probably still work something out. Shipping Methods: I have no preference in regards to PWE or bubble mailer, I am open to both, and have never had an issue with either, so long as the other party's packaging is good (don't just send cards PWE in only penny sleeves -- it won't work. Been there, done that.). When I ship cards out, my general rule of thumb is this: - Bubble mailers will be used if any card involved in the trade exceeds $10 in value. - Bubble mailer will be used if the total value of the cards being traded exceeds $20 in value. - Bubble mailers will be used for any trade of more than 80 cards or so, no matter the value. - Anything not meeting the above three criteria will be sent in 1-3 PWE(s) with a max of 27 cards per envelope. Cards will be placed into 9 page pocket at a max of 3 cards per pouch, folded over each other, and placed between thin pieces cardboard (typically cereal boxes or the like) taped together. |

I tried (again) to add my collection on here, but as usual, after about 25,000 cards I just couldn't take anymore. There is no real point to it for me. |

Not collecting anymore. Getting rid of all my cards. If my trading is turned back on, it's only to list what someone wants to get from me, not for trades. It's been fun, but there comes a time for all good things to come to an end. This is my time. |

Priority of my want lists: 1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want") 2 - Various set ventures (baseball - 1972 Topps, 2016 Topps Chrome, Archives, Heritage sets, then hockey sets) 3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s) 4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s) 5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s) 6 - Baseball HOFers (other decades) If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers. I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023. [The next section has been updated on 3/4/2024] Note: Currently transactions are ON. While I have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you. Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please). (The listings over at the SwamiLee account are in my possession and I am also selling those. The only sport left there is baseball.) |
