I remember buying these at our local convenience store when my father would get the Sunday paper. Most people are not fond of this set but I have always remembered it fondly.

1988 Score is a 660 card set that was distributed by Major League Marketing (the parent company of Sportflics). The set is distinguished by the fact that each card back shows a full-color picture of the player; and the set is broken up into six distinctive 110-card color subsets.

Subsets include Reggie Jackson Tribute (500-504), Rookie Prospects (623-647), and 1987 Season Highlights (648-660).

Card #501, is one of the few cards of Reggie Jackson depicted as a Baltimore Oriole.

Rookie Cards in this set include Ken Caminiti, Tom Glavine and Matt Williams.

Boring set. Not very much to look forward to unless you collect sets or players.
