This set is one of the poorer of the Topps Basketball sets.
It has no big rookies and there are too many players pictured on the majority of the cards. Topps needed to
isolate the player before taking a photo. 3/10

This set was unique in how it was put together. There was a "National" base set of 66 cards, and then 3 "Regional" sets, East, Midwest, and West, of 44 cards each. The first 66 cards just have the standard numbering system, each Regional set has the Region, and then the number (from 67-110), for example "East 78". Each Region has its own seperate checklist as well.

Besides the fact that this set was overproduced....I remember these being my 1st cards purchased. I remember taping onto my bedroom wall, I especially remember the team leader cards because it showed multiple players. To this day I still love this set....1st full card of Magic/Larry, Mchale's Rookie.
