This is a pretty simple looking set. It has the Larry Bird and Ervin Johnson second year cards and a Bill Lambert rookie.

This set was unique in how it was put together. There was a "National" base set of 66 cards, and then 3 "Regional" sets, East, Midwest, and West, of 44 cards each. The first 66 cards just have the standard numbering system, each Regional set has the Region, and then the number (from 67-110), for example "East 78". Each Region has its own seperate checklist as well. | ||
Besides the fact that this set was overproduced....I remember these being my 1st cards purchased. I remember taping onto my bedroom wall, I especially remember the team leader cards because it showed multiple players. To this day I still love this set....1st full card of Magic/Larry, Mchale's Rookie. |
