Cards tend to brick up leading to paper loss during storage. Unopened packs may exhibit same behavior.

Bought my first packs in a comic shop in Bonn visiting a friend. Big fan of Shaq in those days. But a guard from Golden State caught my attention. On cardboard and on TV. Too bad he had just one year with Rookie Chris Webber. Completed the set and still collecting Latrell Sprewell.

The 1993 - 94 Upper Deck Series was the first and only set of trading cards that I tried to collect the complete set of. From memory, I was about 100 - 150 cards short of the 510 total and I would love to one day complete the set !

My first experience with trading cards was 1993-94 Upper Deck series 1.

They were for sale at a local newsagent in my home town in Australia.

After opening the pack I could smell the freshness and I was hooked.

That was back in 1993 and I've been collecting ever since.

In that first pack there was a Triple Double insert of Micheal Williams.

Still have it and about 10 000 other 90's and 2k insert cards now lol.
