The website "Remember the AFL" has a page that lists "All of the players of the AFL". I recently compared the checklist of this set to that list and discovered that out of the 132 cards in this set only 66 players, that's half, are on that list. It's hard to believe but that makes me think that half of the players in this set never played in a regular season AFL game. Fleer probably had to finalize the set checklist before final cuts were made. Just another quirk from the fledgling AFL! | ||
