The worst hockey set Topps ever produced. Awful scratch-off hiding the player's name and no player name on back of card. The scratched off cards look terrible. A very frustrating set. Bad idea.

First pack I ever opened. Pulled a Jimmy Craig Rookie and Carol Vadinais with the Rangers, don't remember the others, but I loved this set. Unfortunately, my 10 year old self scratched off all of the name spots. Still cool cards though!

So I have a question about this set. Most of the cards you could either scratch or leave it alone, but the 2 checklists and cards 262-264 never were covered, correct? Please let me know. Thanks

This set was unique in the sense that the
players names were hidden under a scratch-
off puck. Borque rookie and second year Gretzky
are the highlights.

The 1980-81 Topps set featured scratch-off hockey pucks that covered the players name on the card front.
