This collection consist of the NFL rookie card for each player in the NES version of Tecmo Super Bowl.

When the game was released, there were 28 teams in the league. On the game, each roster included 30 players.

Some players do not have NFL cards. If they do not have an nationally released NFL rookie card, I obtained a regional NFL card. If the player never had an NFL card, I obtained their earliest card from another professional league or college.

Cards of Jewish players with Christian holiday themes

One card for each commissioner. No adequate card for the fourth commissioner, William Eckert, who was in the role 1965-1968.

I entered a 14 team 5x5 dynasty league in its 10th season and took over a neglected last place team. This is my current roster in year 3 of a rebuild.

Mostly League Leader cards but included any base cards that included multiple HOFs (ie. 1962 Topps Managers' Dream card) but I did not include any reprint cards (ie. 1975 Topps 25 years of baseball MVPs)

Autographs obtained through the mail or in person. Also the occasional purchase of a non-authenticated card if I trust it.

The list is sorted by the date when the autographed was received, starting with my first autograph obtained.

Each player’s card is from 2021 or the next possible year, except that multi-player cards, game cards and a few other types are skipped over and used only absent other options. Minor league cards are used as a last resort. I own each card pictured. The highly uninteresting rules are in my profile page, linked above.

My version of a list where I only need one card to complete my Red Sox team set. I currently have over 3200 unique completed Sox team sets, but there are still a ton of commons (and a lot more less common) I need to fill sets.

I have 10 of these cards on my Wantlist.

Beginning with the 2004 Topps and 2005 Topps releases, Topps included All-Star Game event-worn relic pieces from the previous year's All-Star Game.

Since the release of 2005 Topps Update and Highlights, Topps has included All-Star Game event-worn relic pieces from that year's All-Star Game.

This is a list of each Mariners player's All-Star relic card. 2005 Topps does not contain a relic piece from Ichiro, even though he was elected a starter.

While 2020 Topps Update does contain ASG relics, they are from previous years as there was no ASG played due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I consider them part of the list.

2021 Topps Update does not include a relic card of Yusei Kikuchi, the Mariners' lone representative. Kikuchi was injured and did not pitch.

2022 Topps Update does not contain a relic of Julio Rodriguez, despite his participation in the Home Run Derby and All-Star Game. Topps Now released HRD relics, which I will not include in this list. They were absurdly expensive then and are even more expensive now.

I plan to collect every base memorabilia card, excluding dual/triple cards. With the exception of Michael Pineda, who only appears on a dual relic card.

I recently discovered that 2004 Topps Clubhouse Collection contains ASG relics of balls, on-deck circle, and bases. I will likely consider these as part of my ASG set.

Topps Triple Threads also has ASG specific relic cards. However, I decline to include these as part of this list. For the years in which TTT has included ASG relics, Topps Update has already included base relic cards. The TTT versions amount to no more than prime patch cards, of which I've already excluded from the list. Moreover, the TTT relics are very limited so even if I wanted to include them on the list, I wouldn't because I could never find them.

Stupid mistakes by the folks trying to make cards look correct. Not bad air brushing jobs (aka the Mel Bridgman award) but just stupid mistakes.

Please note - for practicality purposes, I'm not going to include any Panini (or other) cards showing the player in jersey 00.

Buybacks are a great idea. But their execution is an ABOMINATION.
Who wouldn't love to find an original, unaltered vintage card inserted in their packs? Instead their beauty is marred; literally "defaced".
For now, only the most egregious "defacings". At the end of the list are a few interesting ones.
