Frank White's two game winning home runs were on September 17 and September 22, his 6th and 7th of the season. The first game winner was against the California Angels pitcher Frank Tanana in the 3rd inning, giving the Royals a 1-0, they would go on to win the game 5-0. The second game winner was against Minnesota Twins pitcher Darrell Jackson in the 7th inning, giving the Royals a 3-2 lead, they would go on to win the game 4-2. In the All Star game, he had one at bat which resulted in a pop foul to the first baseman against Rollie Fingers. |
