Time Travel Trading Update #88  Only 3 trades this past month, which means we are incredibly close to Trade #300. Remember, if you are my 300th Time Travel Trade partner, you get your pick of any card from the stack for free! I can almost guarantee that I'll have a winner before the next update, so if you've been waiting for just the right moment to make a Time Travel Trade, this is it! Let's see if any of these new additions will be part of that historic trade:
I'm starting things off with a single card from a TCDB member named Johnny. Our trade was actually bigger, but mostly cards outside of the project. Here's a card commemorating the inaugural season of the expansion Colorado Rockies. Next up is the monthly offering from Bo (Baseball Cards Come To Life!). Bo picked up a variety of cards - vintage, junk wax, and modern! In return I got a lot of 80's star power, a great vintage Giant, and some old guy I had never heard of before.
In all honesty, that 1935 Lord Trenchard is a pretty cool looking card. Gotta love a man in uniform! Now if I can just find someone who collects pre-WWII non-sports cards to take some of these older cards off my hands...
Finally, we have my regular trade with Brendan (The View From The Third Floor). He picked up a quintet of cards this go-around, and sent back a bunch of starts from the overproduction era, including a Neon Deion rookie card!
I always liked the sheer classiness of the Sandberg card! As always, a hearty thanks to my trade partners. It's time to make some trades, and who knows, maybe lucky #300 will be you!
