I might be giving this set a bit higher rating than the average collector. I think a few reasons are why this happens but in this case, I really like the photos. The action and quality are again, an Upper Deck norm. I do realize only a bazillion of these were made and hence why I have the whole set. But, it’s to note that some parts of history still lie inside this set. As well as stats that help one understand what was taking place at that historical time in baseball. The set reflects and translates, the ability to understand this to kids and adults, and does it well. Despite the asterisks that may gloom over the period, this was still one of the best ‘reach the kids’ sets out there, especially at the time.
