- This set has Neil Armstrong's first known card. Printed in Bamberg, Germany by Heinerle and captures images of the 1960s Space Race up through the end of the Gemini Program and beginning of the Apollo Program.
- In 1970 this set was expanded to 250 cards. Cards #191-250 were released that year.
- A bilingual Danish-English version of the 250-card set, titled The Struggle for the Universe, was released in Denmark by Dandy Chewing Gum. The set also appeared in France as La Lutte Pour L'Espace Cosmique.
