Trivia |
- The founder of Select Australia, Grant Copley, designed this, the first card set for the company because at the time there was no designer for the company. To his own admission the design is a 'primitive' one.
- This is the first of the modern AFL trading card set series as it did not include another product like chewy, snacks or cereal.
- 'Platinum Player' cards are not a limited release but rather a common card.
- Despite being North Melbourne's club captain the previous season, Matthew Larkin's (#61) card features him wearing his VSFL jumper on match day. The VSFL was the name given to the AFL's reserves competition between 1992 and 1994.
