Cards were inserts in a short-lived magazine called SuperStar Heroes. The first issue was the "Prototype" and included Gretzky and Hull. The second issue was Vol 1, No 1 Spring 1992 and included the remaining 12 cards. They were available in 2 different versions: silver foil, or the rarer 1-in-20 magazines gold foil. The backs of the two Bure cards are identical, while the backs of the two Lindros cards are different.
