- Due to a licensing agreement with Classic Games, Shaquille O'Neal couldn't appear in this set until Series 2.
- The four checklist cards from the base set (#197, #198, #395, #396) are replaced with player cards in the Gold parallel (Jeff Sanders, Elliot Perry, David Wingate, Carl Herrera).
