Trivia

  • There was a different base card design for each of the six divisions.
  • Random ‘Hot Packs’ contained nothing but insert cards.
  • The All-Fleer insert set was available through a wrapper offer.
  • The All-Rookies insert set was available through a wrapper exchange redemption card. The deadline was 9/30/95.
  • Inserts were packed at the following rate:
    All-Stars 1:3 packs
    Award Winners 1:24
    League Leaders 1:12
    Lumber Company 1:24 (retail)
    Major League Prospects 1:6
    Pro-Visions 1:9
    Team Leaders 1:24 (hobby)
  • To promote the set, Fleer sent eight base cards to hobby dealers and media. They were #26 (Roger Clemens), #78 (Paul O'Neill), #155 (David Cone), #235 (Tim Salmon), #285 (Juan Gonzalez), #351 (Marquis Grissom), #509 (Ozzie Smith) and #514 (Dante Bichette).

Whoever designed this set probably sat too close to the television as a toddler.

This is one of the hardest to read sets that I have, it is too busy and the numbers are hard to read-I don't know how many times I had the wrong number- 6 instead of 8. This is my least favorite set of all that I have.
