In 1997 everyone was in love with dinosaurs. Jurassic Park the movie was a huge screen hit and fielded a slew of merchandise in the open market.The 1997 Jurassic Park NASCAR set just one of the hundreds.
Strictly a one off set (kind of hard to equate dinosaurs and stock car racing) the 97 set had a few things going for it. Size,(it was small) design and a couple off very cool inserts.
The set itself was easily put together as well as the parallel Triceratops set. Most of the inserts again were fairly easy to complete. The 2 best inserts, Thunder Lizard and T-Rex were much more difficult however.
Prices have maintained steady through the years with even the tougher inserts not increasing much.
