Expanding on the normal sets issued, Pro Set looked to produce an 'upscale' or premium set, which was not much more than just the name and a new logo. The set included most of the hot players, but did not have a real flair to it that set it apart from any other set issued that year except for the nice full color photos. I guess maybe they were testing the waters to see if the hobby would support a high-end set, and it did pretty well. The inserts were not much either as they didn't include anything noteworthy. But this set didn't have as many errors or variations as the previous years did, making it a much easier set to complete.
