Set: 1990 Publications International Trivia Stickers (Rate)

Card: #492 Greg Brock

“ Too small to really see. Looks like a typical early 90s design, but that's a good thing. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Never heard of these! Where were these sold in the day? ” -bkklaos

“ I'll take a pass on all sticker cards. ” -carthage44

“ I just wanted to make sure this got at least one comment. Done. ” -NJdevils

“ The Brewers brought back this uniform, but in button-up form. What if they brought it back as a pullover! ” -jlaz10

“ Publications International solved the common problem of stickers being too large and descriptive. This is Greg Brock. We're done here. ” -DaClyde

“ Wow, not too many details are easily visible on this sticker. I might have had to guess at the uniform if it wasn't for having a roommate in 1990 that was a Brewers fan so I heard a lot about them then. ” -armac

“ I buy old metal coolers and put baseball stickers all over them then I shalak them.I call it folk art,and sell for around 100.00 not bad on a 10.00 cooler and 1000 s of common stickers.oh and Greg Brock was solid.I'd take bream first though.thanks ” -Curtiss bobby peake

Set: 1989 Upper Deck (Rate)

Card: #133 Mike Fitzgerald

“ Another card cropped too close. They should have left it back some so not to cut off the top of his head. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ The very first baseball Upper Deck set and it is a valuable one, thanks to the Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card. ” -carthage44

“ The Expos powder blue roads with racing stripes sure were pretty. Nice BP jersey on the front, too. ” -jlaz10

“ Some probably will take shots at this set, but I remember when these came out and feeling these were the "Cadillac" of trading cards at the time. Still love this set! ” -bkklaos

“ This is a great set. Having said that, it is also what started to make our hobby not accessible to kids anymore. I ,now sadly, view this set as the beginning of the end of our hobby. ” -deporcoruña

“ I wish I had bought more of this set when it first came out! ” -Joshua825

“ Part of the Gary Carter trade that made the Mets become my favourite team. Love the powder blue uniform on the back, and it is great to see the tri-colour hat. I miss having MLB only two hours away. ” -armac

“ The very first set produced by Upper Deck. I liked the Expos uniform in red with blue pants. I know most people didn't like that match but for me, that ain't the case. ” -JimStaub

Set: 2008 Topps Updates & Highlights (Rate)

Card: #UH13 Geoff Blum

“ Personally, I think this is the absolute worst Topps design since 1990. And I'm on the fence as to which is worse, 1990 or 2008. ” -vrooomed

“ I really like this design. Would be better without the fake signature though. I'm so glad Topps did not put them on all the NBA cards they produced over the decades. The design looks like it could be from the 60s or 70s, but also is modern with the foil name...best of both worlds. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nice back but I do miss the cartoons on the back of the cards from the 60s. As for the front, do they get 9 people in a room and ask "all that think this is 'just ok' say 'aye' and we'll go with it"? ” -NJdevils

“ Thank you Geoff Blum, signed all Chicago White Sox fans! ” -carthage44

“ If the team name were smaller and the facsmile signature were not there, it would be a decent card. ” -engine614

“ The Astros brick and sand set was an odd time period in their history, but important as they wore it at the World Series. Navy and orange looks better, though. ” -jlaz10

“ I remember watching him play in the minors in Ottawa. Nice player. ” -armac

“ Like the design, simple and not over colorful. ” -Joshua825

Set: 1962 Topps Bucks (Rate)

Card: #NNO Roberto Clemente

“ Very, very cool. I'm a small time currency collector- mostly what I can find in circulation, IE, Star notes- but I enjoy the hobby quite a bit and if I had more money to spend on hobbies, I would immerse myself in it moreso...but cards come first...(well, after the medicine that keeps me alive, anyway!) ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Nice ! ” -uncaian

“ Wow ... TOPPS BUCKS, didn't think I would ever see these again! I don't have any BB bucks but a lot of FB bucks. Interesting that this idea was never duplicated. ~BOB~ [Never heard Clemente referred to as Bob] ” -BOBSCARDZ

“ This is a neat set, I wish Topps would issue another set like this! Incidentally, I hate that they tried to "Americanize" Clemente by calling him "Bob", something he never agreed with. His name was Roberto! ” -cckeith

“ In Bob We Trust ” -vrooomed

“ Surprised this isn't worth $21. ” -jlaz10

“ Never heard of these, but I'd free up some modern day cash for some of this "funny money"! ” -bkklaos

“ These are hard to find because they are very cool! ” -carthage44

“ Nice 5 dollars bill. I would have thought though that Roberto Clemente would be worth more than 5$. ” -JimStaub

Set: 1962 Post Cereal (Rate)

Card: #76 Raymond Berry

“ All vintage is cool. I would have preferred text on the back, instead of nothing, but you can't win them all I suppose. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Post Cereal has been a forerunner in producing Food Issue sets for BB and FB for years. Nothing gaudy about their designs...however, small ODDBALL sets are fun to collect. ~BOB~ ” -BOBSCARDZ

“ I'd eat cereal if it still included cards. ” -jackal726

“ Love this set. ” -SFC Temple

“ Beautiful Colts jersey. And full stripes! ” -jlaz10

Set: 1993 Maxx Premier Plus (Rate)

Card: #164 Vic Kangas

“ This set was the first chrome style set in NASCAR history. there would be two more Premier Plus sets, and Press Pass issued two chrome sets, in the late 2000s. I am 4 cards away from completing this set, despite doing a box. I have to admit I know almost nothing about Vic Kangas, just what I've read on the card backs. That was a big part of what was missing in NASCAR cards in later years, the crew chiefs and team owners. There is more to the sport than just the drivers. With Press Pass out of business now, I guess it's a moot point. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Few know that this card holds the world record for most "93"s on it. ” -NJdevils

“ Nice shirt, LOL! ” -carthage44

“ Nice sweater... Wait, that's only hockey... ” -jlaz10

Set: 1993 Playoff Contenders (Rate)

Card: #116 Vincent Brisby

“ These cards would always stick together if you had them in a box together and then the paint would rip off the cards. Not good! ” -carthage44

“ Happier on the front. ” -vrooomed

“ Maybe this is an omen that NE are going to win this year!? I have a buddy that is a Pats fan and he'd sure be happy about that. Me, I'm a Hawks fan, but GB can win me some cash...thus, Go Pack! ” -bkklaos

“ Where's Brisby? ” -NJdevils

“ The Patriots early days of the Flying Elvis were forgettable. If you're gonna have royal blue and red, stick to Pat Patriot. ” -jlaz10

Set: 1994-95 Ultra (Rate)

Card: #286 Tim Taylor

“ I will refrain from making "more power" jokes, but I like the card design. Not a surprise, always liked Ultra issues. ” -Billy Kingsley

“ Wasn't he on Home Improvement? ” -BOBSCARDZ

“ Tim Taylor of Detroit? I wonder if he knows his way around power tools. ” -jupiterhill

“ Mid-90's Fleer Ultra always gave you large action photos like this one. ” -carthage44

“ I Don't think so Tim argh argh roo roo!!!! ” -AL BORLIN

“ Not enough pictures on the back. ” -NJdevils

“ The Wings white sweater is so much better than this, despite maintaining most design elements. ” -jlaz10

“ Should be a gold stripe across the bottom. Stripe is missing from several of the scans in this set. Unless there was some variation of these cards that I don't remember. ” -switzr1

Set: 2001 Upper Deck Vintage (Rate)

Card: #253 David Allen

“ Great card. Before I read the title & spotted the Vintage logo, I thought it was an old card. Of course, considering it's now 2015, some might argue that it's still an old card (lol) ” -Billy Kingsley

“ These cards have a very nice vintage texture. ” -carthage44

“ Does anyone know if Topps gave Upper Deck license to use the '71 design or did they just blatantly rip it off? ” -Id8jlb8666

“ Really nice card for lower priced. Beats a lot of their higher priced efforts. ” -NJdevils

“ A decent economy card. I appreciate the "old" cardboard feel and having both stats and a narrative on the back. ” -SFC Temple

“ Very interesting how his name is taped on the front of his helmet. Also, adidas in the NFL? ” -jlaz10

“ Looks like a poorly done rip-off of the 1971 Topps all-pro cards. Why is the name so small on top? Why doesn't "49ers" fill the bottom better? They didn't even have computers to use to set type in 1971, and they still did a better job of type sizing than this. ” -revnorb

“ Love the colors on the front! The back? Ehh.... ” -Joshua825

“ Ah who could forget the Upper Deck ripoff of a Topps Design..Vintage! ” -cynicalbuddha

Set: 1990-91 7th Inning Sketch WHL (Rate)

Card: #343 Victoria Cougars

“ Victoria apparently doesn't have a last name. ” -Id8jlb8666

“ If I didn't know better,I would say this guys name is Victoria, like Prince,Beyonce,Classified or whatever.I do like the Sketch sets though. ” -uncaian

“ I know most cards but I have never heard of 7th inning sketch. Simple design but effective. ” -carthage44

“ They need a lesson in typesetting, but otherwise, cool set. ” -vrooomed

“ So many things wrong!!! Don't see many hockey games go seven innings. Designer had no clue to as to what checkslist is. Different is not always good. ” -NJdevils

“ Nice sweater. The Cougars, now in Prince George, should go back to this color scheme. ” -jlaz10
