Year: 1990
Set: Topps (Rate)
Card: #470 Frank Viola
“ I was driving home from a 1989 Phillies game vs. the Mets on the New Jersey Turnpike, when I noticed the car next to me. It had Minnesota plates and a sign on it that said "New York or bust." Sure enough, it was Frank Viola, whom the Mets had just acquired, and his wife, giddy about returning to his native state to play. A brief, but successful Mets career after the Mets gave up some talented pitchers to get him. And I still hate 1990 Topps cards. ” -Dave Sosidka
“ These cards! I don't know what's worse the front color schemes or that back color! Hideous ” -addysdaddy
“ It looks like he's perfected his 'Glove Cannon' pitch! ” -wamk
