“ For some reason some of my Topps Gallery cards from the 2000-01 NBA issue have developed a slimy, whitish coating on them. I don't know why because I am very careful with how I handle my cards, I'm sure that the fronts and backs have never been touched since they came out of the box. Of the literally thousands of Topps cards in my collection, covering a span of more than 50 years, it's the only set that has that issue.
